As the proud founder of The Pawer Pack, I am building the future of pet hospitality and wellness.
The Pawer Pack redefines how we care for our dogs by creating Pawer Shacks, premium sanctuaries that blend exceptional hospitality with comprehensive health, training, and enrichment services, all backed by an integrated AI-powered nutrition platform through PawerSnacks.
Every location also features an attached Pawer Shelter, where profitable operations directly support rescue efforts, helping the lucky carry the needy. With a passionate belief that dogs deserve their own powerful pack, I’m bringing together world-class amenities, veterinary care, elite trainers and premium nutrition to deliver an unmatched experience for pets and peace of mind for their parents.
This is more than a business, it’s a movement to elevate the standard of care for the animals who give us so much.

I founded a fitness company that fused my deep passion for health and performance with the discipline, resilience, and high-performance mindset I developed while working over 3,000 hours per year at the highest levels of professional services in New York City.
Drawing on that intense executive experience, I built a venture that delivered premium, results-driven exercise and nutrition programs tailored specifically for ambitious urban professionals. We also pioneered unique mobile gym units: innovative, high-quality training environments designed for the fast-growing fitness population, all developed in full alignment with the American College of Sports Medicine’s (ACSM) gold-standard certifications.
This venture was more than a business; it was a powerful bridge between my corporate background and personal passion. It taught me how to build and lead a customer-obsessed operation from the ground up, manage rapid scaling, design compelling service experiences and execute under real-world pressure.
Even though the COVID-19 pandemic ultimately brought the company to a close, the experience proved invaluable, sharpening my entrepreneurial instincts, operational rigor and ability to create meaningful value in demanding environments.

I co-founded a Johns Hopkins University spin-out company at the forefront of neuroregeneration, pioneering innovative therapies to restore neurological function after injury and disease.
As a key member of the founding team, I led business strategy, operations and fundraising efforts. I successfully secured green-light approval and term sheets for $2 million in venture capital funding from sophisticated investors.
Unfortunately, irreconcilable disputes over equity and control between the two other PhD co-founders ultimately led to the project's discontinuation. While the company did not advance beyond the incubator stage, the experience proved invaluable, immersing me in a high-velocity entrepreneurial environment alongside some of the brightest scientific and clinical minds at Johns Hopkins. It sharpened my ability to navigate complex founder dynamics and translate cutting-edge science into viable business models.

I also founded a boutique consulting firm focused on developing innovative plant-based products and acquiring strategic production assets. The concept originated when he restructured a publicly traded renewable energy company around a nutrient-dense 3-billion-year-old superfood.
We advanced projects like Phyco Blue, a mobile photosynthetic microalgae system that converts CO2 and wastewater into biomass and clean water. After exploring opportunities in Greece, Tanzania and South Africa, many of which were hindered by climate challenges, we partnered with a great farm, on a third continent, with ideal growing conditions and a skilled team producing super proteins at scale. The venture is now poised for success.

In a classic case of forensic instinct cutting through polished deception, I uncovered a life sciences startup that had raised over a million dollars from Monaco-based investors at a valuation wildly detached from any realistic future revenues or earnings.
Armed with little more than a sharp eye and gut-level skepticism, a single interview with a prospective salesman was enough to collapse the entire facade. The slick PhD co-founder’s snake-oil charisma had blinded even a seasoned VC advisor and his own co-founder, whose due diligence failed to expose the fiction. What unraveled were two phantom entities and vaporous “strategic partnerships” with top-tier labs, nothing more than hot air designed to manufacture credibility.
In the end, even sophisticated Monaco investors, who should have known better at that level of wealth, watched their capital vanish into thin air. It was a stark reminder that no amount of money or credentials can substitute for rigorous forensic scrutiny.

My expertise also halted a sophisticated, years-long fraud that had evaded detection by Big 4 auditors.
While engaged in a business restructuring assignment for a publicly listed company, I identified the fraudulent transmutation of financing cash inflows, pure liabilities, into reported operating revenue, artificially inflating top-line growth for five consecutive years.
What the perpetrators had executed was simple but effective CAPEX Laundering: they raised substantial loans intended for genuine capital investment, skimmed substantial portions for personal enrichment and fabricated profits, and deployed the remainder into semi-legitimate projects to maintain the illusion of progress.
Even the multi-billion-dollar institutional fund that had provided the financing remained completely unaware, until this former NYC auditor walked in and unraveled the scheme.

Engaging Urban Oak AI early enabled a swift turnaround that transformed a high-risk mega-farm acquisition into a successful outcome, saving investors many millions in potential losses.
Brought in as a consultant by sophisticated investors with decades of large-scale funding experience and public company board roles, I reviewed the planned purchase of an aquaculture farm for a low eight-figure price. A rapid NY SEC-style audit of the projections immediately flagged dangerously optimistic revenue assumptions, a make-or-break element.
Further scrutiny revealed the pitch deck had been crafted by a disgraced, convicted scam artist previously responsible for raising $50 million before redirecting funds to a friend’s unrelated project.
Although some capital had already been deployed, decisive action and a strategic redirection prevented disaster and repositioned the project for success.

AI Agents are slashing the time and cost of advisory and assurance work. Combined with our Big 4, compliance, startup and forensic expertise, Urban Oak AI is changing the game.
